UK Supreme Court decision in Lyrica: what you need to know

This week, the UK Supreme Court handed down its much anticipated judgment in the Warner-Lambert v Mylan and Actavis (Lyrica) case. The full decision is 92 pages, but our colleagues at Freshfields (who intervened in the case on behalf of EFPIA and ABPI) have released a very helpful briefing note that can be read here. The Supreme Court's own press release is here.
With a mixture of majority decisions, dissenting judgements and obiter, it will be the subject of much debate and discussion over the coming months and it might be some time before the practical effects of this judgement are fully understood.
